Wendy has been working with families and their children since 2010. After having her own children in 2006 & 2009, she became aware of the lack of good quality, evidence-based support for families looking to improve their experience with feeding and sleep. It became (and has stayed!) her passion to offer this to as many families as she can.

Giving compassionate and quality support to the entire family in the context of feeding helps my client to feel more positively about their feeding journey - no matter what form it takes. I believe that breastfeeding is a relationship, and should be approached with a view to creating a positive outcome for everyone involved (and certainly not seen as a sacrifice that a mother makes for her child). In addition to my infant feeding work, I also offer weaning to solids workshops to help families make the gentle transition to solid foods when their baby is ready. And finally, after many years of watching my clients be pulled in opposite directions with regards to breastfeeding and sleep, I took a sleep qualification so that I can provide more holistic support, which protects the breastfeeding relationship, while also gently encouraging more sleep for the whole family!"
